Music therapy

Anneliis completed her Bachelor of Music Therapy at Melbourne University. For the past 16 years she has worked as a registered music therapist in a range of settings including early intervention, special education, adult disability, stroke rehabilitation, cancer care, progressive neurology, community choirs, aged care and palliative care. Led by a strong interest in wellbeing and human potential, Anneliis went on to complete a Masters in Applied Positive Psychology in 2017. When working with Anneliis you will note her warmth and empathy and experience a therapist who is deeply committed to supporting those with whom she works. She believes that music makes life better and is committed to bringing the benefits of music to everyone she works with. Her approach to therapy is individualised, flexible and strengths based. In addition to her clinical music therapy work Anneliis has also taught in the Masters of Music Therapy program at Melbourne University and held various allied health managerial roles.
